Daniel Iversen

In our occasional series of progress reports on players loaned out, today Preston fan Geoff Ollerton provides an early season report..

“Daniel returned to Preston just prior to the season starting and was on the bench for the opener v Hull. He was soon brought on to replace the injured Declan Rudd but it wasn’t a great start as we conceded four that day.

Since then he has been playing well although we did lose three games early on, not that he was at fault.

He has now got back into the form that we know he can produce some of his reaction saves are amazing. He is an exceptional goalkeeper and makes a huge difference to the team, he is in the same form that made him outstanding last term when he was voted player of the year.

He is well liked by teammates and supporters who are all agreed that it’s a good move by PNE to get him signed up for the full season. The most important thing is that he appears to be very happy here and long May that continue. “
