The Foxes Trust attended this year’s LCFC Remembrance Service in memory of those Leicester City supporters we have lost in the last year, including some of our own members.
The Trust was very sad to hear of the passing this year of long-standing Trust members, and regular AGM attendees, Ellen Bale and Michael Allard.
Trust Chair, Lynn Wyeth, and former Board members Di and Dave Statham, were in attendance at the service. The Club ran an excellent service once more, this year taking place at the Remembrance Garden. Supported as always by The Birch, names of supporters we have lost were rolling on screens, followed by a service from Rev Gwynn Davis.
The Vichai memorial garden was open after the event for people to go and pay their respects there.
The Club has recently done some work on the Remembrance Garden and is looking into extending it where possible.
Thanks go to The Birch for his continued support for this event, and to Jim (LCFC Help) and Anna (Events) for putting on a thoughtful service and refreshments, and to LCFC for putting on an event that is very valued by many supporters. See the full service programme here.
