With the departure of Andy Welsh back to Sunderland ending his loan spell a couple of days early, the wages saved were quickly re-invested in giving Danny Cadamarteri a contract until the end of the season.
Rob Kelly commented on LCFC World that Danny had displayed a hunger for success which earned him his contract following a 2 week trial. It will be interesting to see if Rob plans to use him as a striker or utilise his pace on the wing.
Cadamarteri is best known for his 6 years at Everton where he broke into the first team and made 50 starts and a further 60 substitute appearances, claiming 15 goals.
Still only 27 he has subsequently played for Bradford, Leeds, Sheffield United and finally returning to Bradford for a second spell. He also played a few games on loan at Fulham. His full career details follow….
