How long have you supported your team? 21 years
Overview of your club:
Favourite thing about your home ground: Apart from the bar! It is difficult to pick one thing, there is always a great pre-match vibe to the club. Bournemouth at its heart a family club and this can clearly be felt around the ground.
Favourite match played by your team & why: We have been spoilt in recent years. With records being broken, promotions and recent historic wins in our early days in the Premier League.
However my favorite game would have to the game where we sealed promotion from League one to the Championship. After a difficult start to the season and Eddie Howe’s return to the club. We sealed promotion in a 3-1 win against Carlisle in April 2012.
Favourite player of all time who played for your club: Steve Fletcher- an absolute club legend!
About our forthcoming match against you:
Your favourite current player in your squad and why? Harry Arter. He is a key player for us in linking our play from midfield, but also breaking down the opposition. He has been a driving force in our side in recent years and is probably one of our most influential players.
Player in your squad we should most fear and why? Other than Harry Arter, Charlie Daniels has really stepped up this season and can attack at pace on the overlap or inside the opposition full back.
Player in our squad you most fear and why? Jamie Vardy- need I say anymore!
Up and coming prospect in your squad? Baily Cargill- has come through our youth ranks (and I believe may have had some time at Leicester as well). Capped by England U20 and can hopefully push for a starting place in the coming seasons.
Where do you think you’ll finish this season? 15th
How do you think you’ll do against us? I think it could be a very entertaining game. On our day we can beat anyone, as recent results have shown.
General Questions:
What do you think of the summer transfer activity both in and out of your club? Unfortunately our key transfers from the summer- Max Gradel and Tyrone Mings suffered serious injuries very early in the season. Josh King has grown stronger as the season has progressed. We have remained loyal to the players that got us to where we are and they have continued to do the club proud.
Do you think you need any further additions in January? Yes- need some reinforcements as our squad needs competition for places and some other options going forwards.
Which three teams do you think will go down? Aston Villa / Sunderland / Newcastle
Who do you think will win the league? Would love to see you win the league (minus the 3 points from our game)
