Going to Carlisle?

By Road – Brunton Park is within easy reach of the M6.

Leave the motorway at Junction 43 and take the first exit off the roundabout. The Blue roof of the Cumberland Building Society Stand can be seen on the right hand side, almost as soon as you leave the roundabout. Keep going straight ahead along Warwick Road (A69). After passing through the third set of traffic lights the club shop (Blues Store) and Hughie McIlmoyle statue marks the main entrance to the ground.

Car parking in this area is strictly limited to pass holders, visiting directors (by prior arrangement) and the away team bus.

Car Parking

By Rail

Please note the last train leaves at 5-15pm and you may get held back in the ground after the match, if you have bought train tickets please read the separate article linked here: http://foxestrust.co.uk/site/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=570&Itemid=2

Carlisle Citadel Station is served by the West Coast Main line, with the station situated in the middle of Carlisle. From the station, walk straight ahead cross Botchergate and walk along the Crescent until you see the entrance to Warwick Road on the right, next to Bar Suede. Brunton Park is about a fifteen minute walk from the entrance to Warwick Road.

Where to drink

There is one pub near the ground, 'The Beehive' which is on the main A69 (Warwick Road). The pub may allow away supporters in and serves a good pint of Theakstons. Further down the road towards the town centre is the White House, which is more spacious, but won't allow away fans in wearing colours. Otherwise there is the Carlisle Rugby Club next to Brunton Park on the Warwick Road that has a club bar, allows in away supporters and is family friendly. The Howard Arms, which is on Lowther Street, off Warwick Road, towards the Town Centre, down from the White House is recommended. The Stoneyholme Golf Club (behind the main carpark), has a bar, serves food and welcomes fans on matchdays.
