Have You Bought Train Tickets for Carlisle?

The Foxes Trust is asking for any fans who have already bought train tickets to get to the Carlisle game next Saturday to get in touch with the Trust.

Following the announcement that Carlisle police wish to perform a lock in of City fans this Saturday, which will result in any City fans who travelled by train missing the last train back to Leicester (5.15pm), Alan Digby raised the issue with Leicester City FC.

The response to date gives no re-assurance that fans will be allowed to leave in time to get their train, hence the tannoy announcement at the Southend game advising fans not to travel by train.

Our concern is for fans who have already bought a non transferable ticket well in advance and will now face additional costs to get home including an overnight stay.

The Trust will be questioning the club about a report on the Carlisle official site, which states that Leicester City rejected moving the game forward half an hour, to make train travel feasible for away fans

The Foxes Trust would therefore like to hear from any fans (you don’t have to be Trust members) who already have train tickets, the Trust will then go back to the club with specific examples of fans who stand to lose out financially.

Any fan affected should contact [email protected]
