Through participation in a Fantasy Premier League competition we have recently discovered the existence of the Premier League Fan Panel, which they describe as “a thriving community designed to give football fans the chance to have their say on the issues, big and small, which affect the Premier League.”
The Premier League stated “In previous seasons subjects have ranged from identifying ways to improve the matchday experience to understanding fans' views on the use of flares in Premier League stadiums, and from providing feedback on Fantasy Premier League to examining fans' attitudes towards sporting memorabilia.”
To obtain an invite to the panel, you need to take part in the Fantasy Premier League competition, http://fantasy.premierleague.com. There are prizes related to the competition but also as a result of joining the Fan Panel, including match tickets. “The information is gathered by leading research agency Populus and is used to help shape the future of the Premier League. All entries are anonymous and all responses are held by Populus in complete confidence”
“Participation in surveys is entirely voluntary, fans can complete as many or as few surveys as they want, although the more times they take part the more opportunities they have to win prizes (however, each survey can only be completed once).”
“If you are a UK resident and aged 16 or over (and not employed by, or otherwise affiliated with, Populus or the Premier League), you can join the Fan Panel. Registration is free and there are no annual membership or administration fees”
The Foxes Trust as an organisation has no direct link into the competition or survey results, but thought fellow City fans may want to take part.
