A bit about you
Name: Owen Scrimshaw
Current home town: Nottingham Birthplace: Mexborough, South Yorkshire How long have you supported your team? 32 years
Overview of your club:
Favourite thing about your home ground: The West Stand, a reminder of the past and how far the club have come in the last 15 years
Favourite match played by your team & why: Bradford City home game 26th April 1997, the game that got us promoted to the premier league. The reds won 2-0 to secure premier league football for the first time
Favourite player of all time who played for your club: Ronnie Glavin, a superb attacking midfielder with an eye for goal
About our forthcoming match against you:
Your favourite current player in your squad and why? Tough one, we have so many players but I will go for Heinz Muller. He is our goalkeeper and has installed confidence in the defence and this has helped spread throughout the team……
Player in your squad we should most fear and why? Brian Howard, he is playing well and showing the Battling Barnsley spirit. He is also scoring goals from midfield and is leading goal scorer at the moment
Player in our squad you most fear and why? I tend not to worry too much about the opposition teams, but I would say Matty Fryatt, I remember when he could score goals for fun
Up and coming prospect in your squad? Rob Atkinson, a central defender is constantly spoken about, but he really needs to make the break through. Another one is Michael Coulson, a striker but again needs to break through and get some regular first team activity some where
Where do you think you ll finish this season? I would be happy with a mid table position, but if we can keep up our current form, a top 10 position is not impossible
How do you think you ll do against us? I am feeling confident that we should pick up at least a point in the away game, and if we continue with recent performances I see no reason why we cannot get three points. I would expect three points from the home game.
