Foxes Trust and Union FS met with our club on Wednesday following issues raised about the non-availability of tickets for General Sale. We are pleased to announce that the club has now agreed to have tickets on General Sale for the FA Cup game against Birmingham on 27 January and the League game against Swansea on 30 January. Tickets for the FA Cup game will be available online from 5pm, 20th January, and by phone on 22nd January at 9am. Tickets for Swansea at home will be on general sale 26th January.
The club also offered to meet with both fans’ groups again after the games have been played to review the number of tickets sold via the General Sale process.
The fans’ groups also requested that a further League game with a Saturday 3pm kick off is identified, so General Sale tickets can be offered for a time more suitable for younger fans attending their first game.
Also discussed was the difficulty of registering younger fans via the website to attend their first game and the difficulties arising for Season Ticket or Membership guests who cannot access digital tickets. There are systems in place to overcome these and any fans who experience these issues can contact the Foxes Trust for advice.
We would urge any fan who has raised concerns about the lack of General Sale tickets to buy tickets for the FA Cup game and/or the Swansea game, as a good take up will encourage the club to put tickets on General Sale for further games this season when they are not already sold out to Members.
