A bit about you:
Name: Lee Davies
Current home town: Blackwood, Gwent.
Birthplace: Newport
How long have you supported your team? 20 years.
Overview of your club:
Favourite thing about your home ground: The exterior of the ground. When you walk up to the ground, it looks like a football ground what with the graphics and advertising – when we shared with the rugby side, it looked a bit of a lego stadium, now it’s our own, it’s a lot more appealing and the pitch is half decent!
Favourite match played by your team & why: Middlesbrough away in the FA Cup 2008 is in my top 5. ‘Boro at the time were in the Premiership, it was Quarter Final FA Cup, we won 2-0. That meant we were going to Wembley for the first time for years, and in turn get to an FA Cup Final for this time in over 80 years.
Favourite player of all time who played for your club: Graham Kavanagh.
About our forthcoming match against you:
Your favourite current player in your squad and why? Craig Noone. Old fashioned winger who carries the ball up the pitch, very quick and puts in decent crosses, dangerous player.
Player in your squad we should most fear and why? Craig Bellamy. I don’t need to tell anyone what he can do, if he turns up and fancies it, then he’s head and shoulders above everyone in the league. Watching him live, you see how hard he works, and great players work hard.
Player in our squad you most fear and why? David Nugent. He always seems to play well against us!
Up and coming prospect in your squad? Joe Mason, good potential, but that’s all it is at the moment as he’s quite young.
Where do you think you’ll finish in the League this season? 1st. Champions this year, haven’t seen anyone as good as Cardiff City this year.
How do you think you’ll do against us? Score draw, 1-1 or 2-2.
