A bit about you:
Name: Lee Croft
Current home town: Doncaster
Birthplace: Doncaster
How long have you supported your team? 15 years
Overview of your club:
Favourite thing about your home ground: In all honesty as much as the Keepmoat Stadium is new and shiny, I am still too attached to our old ground Belle Vue
Favourite match played by your team & why: February 2010, Sheffield Wednesday 0-2 Doncaster Rovers. Our first ever victory at Hillsborough and possibly the best ever performance from the Rovers X1
Favourite player of all time who played for your club: Michael McIndoe
About our forthcoming match against you:
Your favourite current player in your squad and why? George Friend, although not our best player, George is still learning and if we can hang onto him he will become a great leader for us in the future.
Player in your squad we should most fear and why? El Hadji Diouf, should he be at his best then all defences should fear him. Not an out and out striker but he has a real eye for goal in this division.
Player in our squad you most fear and why? Dave Nugent, this player still has a lot to prove and it is easy to see why he is the Foxes top goal scorer. The complete forward causes all defences different problems every week and he will be the man we need to keep quiet in order to get anything from the game at the King Power Stadium.
Up and coming prospect in your squad? Kyle Bennet, signed him this season from Bury, the young explosive winger has showed a lot of promise and netted a couple of goals in his first season in the Championship, and should we be able to hang onto him he could be a great future player.
Where do you think you’ll finish this season? I think it is all too little too late. I would like to think Doncaster Rovers can still survive and I am hopeful that we still come out fighting each and every game but with Pompey and Coventry picking up the pace late on I think we are condemned to League One Football. 22nd.
How do you think you’ll do against us? I think we will possibly start the better team, but as the game goes on your quality will perhaps shine through. I'm not too sure on the total outcome but I do think it will be a lot closer than the 5-1 last season.
Any other comments? May the best team win!
