A bit about you:
Name: Peter Lloyd (Former chairman of The Posh Supporters' Trust. Just elected to the board of Supporters Direct England and Wales Football Council).
Current home town: London
Birthplace: Stockport
How long have you supported your team? 46 years
Overview of your club:
Great history, great potential, great football over the last four years
Favourite thing about your home ground: The London Rd. terrace
Favourite match played by your team & why: Huddersfield away in the 1991/2 playoffs after finishing 6th. Paved the way for our greatest season in the modern era under ourgreatest manager, Chris Turner
Favourite player of all time who played for your club: Mick Halsall – all attitude
About our forthcoming match against you:
Very big game. We want a win!
Your favourite current player in your squad and why? George Boyd. Sublime passing and ball-at-feet skills, ghosts past players sometimes three at a time, scores goals, great attitude and work rate for someone so talented.
Player in your squad we should most fear and why? Paul Taylor. Lightening speed, very quick feet, knows where the goal is, tough
Player in our squad you most fear and why? No one really but we don't like quality right wingers at the moment so if Dyer's going to play there – him
Up and coming prospect in your squad? Shaun Brisley. Looks like he could be a classy centre back
Where do you think you’ll finish this season? 16th
How do you think you’ll do against us? Win if our best team turns up
Any other comments? Always thought there would be more rivalry with Leicester City bearing in mind how close we are. Maybe that will develop. It would be good if it did.
We are top of the Championship in terms of the % of the home gate which travels away – 15%. Says a lot about our core support but also reflects the fact that we have fairly poor home support. (Editor’s note, LCFC are ranked 12th with 8.3% of the average home gate but 4th in average actual away attendance.)
