Oppos View – Forest Part 2

View from the opposition Part Two – Nottingham Forest Monday 29 November 2010

A bit about you:

Name: Ian Moore

Current home town:  Loughborough

Birthplace: Manchester

How long have you supported your team? My dad took me to my first game when I was 10 so 31 years!

Overview of your club:

Favourite thing about your home ground: It’s a traditional ground rather than a new build identikit (plus top pubs near the ground!)

Favourite match played by your team & why: Despite the European nights & Wembley finals it was probably the last game win against Yeovil a couple of years ago to finally get out of League One. We’ve never made a play off final but it must be that sort of emotion.

Favourite player of all time who played for your club: Stuart Pearce…

About our forthcoming match against you:

Your favourite current player in your squad and why? Radoslaw Majewski, creative Polish international midfielder with a habit of scoring great goals

Player in your squad we should most fear and why? Lewis McGugan, attacking midfielder in great form & conducting his own personal goal of the season campaign!

Player in our squad you most fear and why? Steve Howard, we never cope with a big, physical centre forward

Up and coming prospect in your squad? Ryan Bertrand, England U21 full back on loan from Chelsea….quality

Where do you think you’ll finish this season? With Dexter Blackstock getting injured at the weekend it all depends if the chairman backs Billy Davies in the January transfer window. If he does we could get 2nd spot, if not we might scrape a play off place

How do you think you’ll do against us? I think you’ll nick it at the Walkers & we’ll get our revenge later in the season at The City Ground

Any other comments? My wife Louise is a Leicester City season ticket holder, I’ve got a season ticket at Forest so you can imagine the atmosphere in our house after last seasons games!
