Fans Remembrance and Thanksgiving Service

Leicester City Football Club will once again be holding a service of ‘Remembrance and Thanksgiving’ at the Walkers Stadium on Sunday 16th May commencing at 2pm. This will be the 4th year that such an event has been organised by the club.

This occasion gives bereaved supporters, and the families of ex-staff and players the opportunity to remember and celebrate the lives of their deceased loved ones.

The service will take place in the club’s Garden of Remembrance and will be led by Club Chaplain, Richard Gamble. (If the weather is inclement it will take place in one the Banks Lounge).

Leicester City will also be represented during the service by Club Ambassador, Alan Birchenall and Pat Griffin, while Richard who will be on hand to lend his support on the day for those in attendance.

As in previous years the event will be informal, but dignified, and will provide inspiration, comfort, and hope to those who wish to remember their loved ones through the football club.
