A bit about you:
Name: Tony Edeson
Current home town: Leicester (although it is a City!)
Birthplace: Driffield, East Yorkshire
How long have you supported your team? 47 years – 26 as Season Ticket Holders (me and my son).
Overview of your club:
Favourite thing about your home ground: Atmosphere, size and passion of crowd (even through recent hard times) and the chip shop opposite!
Favourite match played by your team & why: Everton, home in 1967 – my first trip to ER.
Favourite player of all time who played for your club: Tony Currie – what a masterful player and in an era of showmanship he was ‘Billy Smart’!!
About our forthcoming match against you:
Your favourite current player in your squad and why? Ryan Hall. Great signing, keeps the bench warmer than anyone else at ths club.
Player in your squad we should most fear and why? Paddy Kenny – he is likely to be the main barrier to you winning!
Player in our squad you most fear and why? Chris Wood. Always scores against us!
Up and coming prospect in your squad? Sam Byram – good prospect – if we can keep him! Plays equally well at fullback or in midfield. Pacy and good in the air.
Where do you think the season went wrong for you this year & why? Same as last season – October. Lost games we should have won and had some appalling referees decisions, including sending’s off that we see unpunished elsewhere week in week out.
What did you think about the appointment of Warnock initially? He’s too old. Never liked Leeds. Shown no managerial acumen. Talks crap after games to justify his lack of substitutions and team selections. Has signed a bunch of pensioners!
What do you think about it now? No change.
How well do you think you'll do next season? Depends which league we are in!!!!!!!!!
How do you think you’ll do against us? If our squad assembled for £4.50 can compete with your £15M squad for 90 minutes I'd be happy. If someone can emulate Adam Clayton from our last visit and grab a late winner, even better. We've been beaten in the East Midlands twice this season, so not holding my breath.
