Oppos Views – Hull

View from the opposition – Hull City 16 October 2010

A bit about you:

Name: Mike Hart

Current home town: Hull     Birthplace: Hull, East Yorkshire

How long have you supported your team? Most of my life. I remember my dad taking me to Boothferry Park for the first time when I was 8. I bought my first season pass in 1988.

Overview of your club:

Favourite thing about your home ground: Everything! The KC stadium is an absolute godsend to the people of Hull. It made such an impact in securing the future of the club.

Favourite match played by your team & why: It has to be the Play Off final at Wembley against Bristol City, simply due to the importance of the win and getting us to the Premier League…

Favourite player of all time who played for your club: Keith Edwards – A great goalscorer. (shame he played for us over 20 years ago)

About our forthcoming match against you:

Your favourite current player in your squad and why? Daniel Ayala – He’s been so strong in defence for us since his loan move. (hopefully Liverpool will continue to fall apart so we can keep him).

Player in your squad we should most fear and why? Tom Cairney – His calm nature with the ball settles the squad but his corners and crosses are perfect and dangerous.

Player in our squad you most fear and why? No-one now you’ve got Sven, because no one will have a clue what to do!… but ok, if I have to pick someone… Steve Howard – there’s a whole lot more to his game than just scoring.

Up and coming prospect in your squad? Mark Cullen – He needs more time on the pitch and will be a top striker when he gets the chance.

Where do you think you’ll finish this season? 12th

How do you think you’ll do against us? Hull Win 2-1
