Danny N’Guessan – Lincoln View

Continuing our articles on Nigel Pearson’s captures, today Neil Hobbs from the Lincoln Trust gives us an insight into Danny N’Guessan

“No League Two footballer has the strength and pace of Eiffel Power Danny ‘Gasman’ N’Guessan. The financial conclusion of the deal still not settled despite recent talks in Portugal, however it is now certain that Le Fusée Rouge will ply his trade as Le Fusée Blue in the Championship next season. An apt stage and the beautiful theatre that is The Walkers Stadium will be a fitting one for a player with the world at his feet, if handled correctly.

He is so much more than a wide player. The phenomenal, at times petulant but precocious talent, for 12 football matches became a dazzling League 2 Ronaldo.

Whether Dany was cutting in to power home 25 yarders or leaving two or three in his wake; all are meat and drink for the Gallic gastronomic gem. At 21 he has the strength of a Heskey and the pace of Achilles.

One of the finest talents to grace Sincil Bank for a while, when The Red Flare emerged he would be worth the gate money alone.  He can be brilliant one minute, frustrating the next, attempting to rub a defenders nose in it once too many.

Alas, the Flare will be blue from now on, however the brightness will be down to the Foxes coaching staff.  Should Milan’s millionaires play this lad correctly, then it maybe Inter or AC who get him next.
