Favourite thing about your home ground: It’s still a real football ground. Despite the addition of the new East Stand, there is still terracing on three sides of the ground
Favourite match played by your team & why: Home to Spurs in August 1974. The 1-0 victory was our first ever home game in the old first division, our third win in three games and we went top of the league. We were relegated at the end of the season.
Favourite player of all time who played for your club: Peter Beardsley. He made his debut as a teenager and I knew from the start he would play for England. He was worth the admission fee on his own…..

Your favourite current player in your squad and why? Peter Murphy our longest-serving player and an excellent defender.
Player in your squad we should most fear and why? Michael Bridges. The former Leeds star is on a season-long loan from Hull City. Our most skilful player is finally clear of the injuries that have plagued his season.
Player in our squad you most fear and why? Matty Fryatt. He was on loan with us as a teenager and looked a hot prospect even then.
Up and coming prospect in your squad? Tom Aldred. Youth team captain and central defender. He should have been given his chance by now judging by some of our recent performances.
Where do you think you’ll finish this season? Two places above bottom 4.
How do you think you’ll do against us? I’d take a draw.
Any other comments? Pleased to see Nigel Pearson doing so well after he was the manager that kept us in the league in the famous “Jimmy Glass game” – and was then sacked. He was shafted by Michael Knighton – and he wasn’t the only one.

Favourite match played by your team & why: May 8th versus Plymouth Argyle when Jimmy Glass saved us from relegation scoring a goal 4 minutes into injury time.
