Oppos Views – Peterborough

View from the opposition – Peterborough 28 March 2009:

A bit about you:

Name: Scott Garner

Current home town: Peterborough     Birthplace: Wisbech

How long have you supported your team? Over twenty years

Overview of your club:

Favourite thing about your home ground: Family Stand, it still looks good today

Favourite match played by your team & why: First Wembley 91/92 vs  Stockport County.  I was 12 years old and it was my first time at Wembley.  The atmosphere and victory were something I will never forget

Favourite player of all time who played for your club: Kenny Charlery

About our forthcoming match against you:

Your favourite current player in your squad and why? Charlie Lee.  A versatile player who has covered most positions on the park this season.  He gives 100% effort at all times and adapts well…..

Player in your squad we should most fear and why? George Boyd.  On his day he has superb ball skills rivalled by few in the league.  He can create something from nothing.

Player in our squad you most fear and why? Matty Fryatt, he is a goal machine

Up and coming prospect in your squad? Paul Coutts

Where do you think you’ll finish this season? Playoff places

How do you think you’ll do against us? I would like a home win but our form has been sketchy of late so probably a score draw

Any other comments? You outclassed us at your place and look to be by far the best side in this league.  I can see no issues in you obtaining automatic promotion.
