Oppos View – Oldham Part Two

A bit about you:
Name:
Richard Attwood

Current home town: Rochdale                 Birthplace: Rochdale

How long have you supported your team?
26 years .. help !

Overview of your club:
Favourite thing about your home ground: The Location, its easy to get to and from after games.

Favourite match played by your team & why: Best match was the game at Boundary Park versus Sheffield Wed in 1990-1991 season when we came from 2-.0 down to win the Championship.

Favourite player of all time who played for your club: My personal favourite would be Nicky Henry

About our forthcoming match against you:
Your favourite current player in your squad and why? Chris Taylor, a local lad who is living the dream of any Oldham Fan. He has supported the club from being young and now plays week in week out.

Player in your squad we should most fear and why? Sean Gregan, he has been out for 3 games now and will be itching to cement his place back in the team. Sean can bully and restrict any player he plays against on his day and is the major cog in the latic?s defence.

Player in our squad you most fear and why? Andy King is a young player who I have noticed that could be a danger man for LCFC….

Up and coming prospect in your squad? A young lad called Dale Stephens is a player I can’t wait to break into the first team.

Where do you think you'll finish this season?
Hopefully in the Top 3, I would hope for an automatic finishing position as I don’t like the Play Offs.

How do you think you'll do against us?
I think it will be a hard game for both teams, I’m hoping for a win as I think we need to win most of our home games to have a real chance of promotion. Realistically I think it will be a 2-2 draw.

Any other comments:
If we can keep LCFC players like King, Fryatt and Howard quiet we have a chance to get something out of the game. Although we do have to be aware that Leicester City can win games in the last minute and play to the final whistle. Your fans and players are lucky that the game is on a mild October Saturday and not on a January or Feb cold wet Saturday, Boundary Park on a cold day is something I wouldn’t even wish on a Manchester United fan! (Well almost)

Enjoy the Game.
