A bit about you:
Name: Robert Pepper
Current home town: Huddersfield Birthplace: Elland
How long have you supported your team? 60 Years
Overview of your club:
Favourite thing about your home ground: I'm pleased that the new (1994) stadium is only a stone's throw from the old one on Leeds Road and am still quite excited about what was a revolutionary design at the time.
Favourite match played by your team & why: Was the 1995 play-off semi-final second leg at Brentford, won on penalties amidst scenes of high drama and incredible support.
Favourite player of all time who played for your club: Seen is Denis Law. All-time great was Billy Smith……
About our forthcoming match against you:
Your favourite current player in your squad and why? James Berrett (but he won't be playing) because he's another Academy product but with a bigger future than most.
Player in your squad we should most fear and why? Gary Roberts who has excellent ball skills, great passing and a good shot. Also a dead-ball expert.
Player in our squad you most fear and why? Sorry, can't comment on your squad – our manager is paid to analyse the opposition, not me!
Up and coming prospect in your squad? Prospects include Alex Smithies, England U18 keeper; Daniel Broadbent, striker.
Where do you think you’ll finish this season? We ought to finish in the top 6 and could challenge for top 2 – look out L**ds and Leicester!
How do you think you’ll do against us? We're finally starting to get our act together and so I expect Town to win by the odd goal.
