A bit about you

Name: Roger Widdecombe (Press Officer MK Dons Supporters Association)

Current home town: Milton Keynes  Birthplace: London

How long have you supported your team? Since Wimbledon moved to Milton Keynes

Overview of your club:

MK Dons are a real 'family club' with friendly fans and hopefully a very bright future

Favourite thing about your home ground: Stadium MK whilst not fully finished is absolutely fantastic in many ways and once fully finished will be as good as many Championship and Premiership stadiums.

Favourite match played by your team & why: There are 3 that come to mind – one 3 seasons ago when Gareth Edds scored a magical goal to keep us up and avoid relegation when we played Tranmere.

Another would be the penultimate game of the season last year when we went up to Bradford City and secured promotion in an enthralling game with a fantastic atmosphere and afterwards had a big street party' in Bradford.

Finally the trip to Wembley was Fantastic with around 33,000 people going from Milton Keynes and seeing the Dons win the Paint Pot' Trophy (Johnstone's Paint Trophy to put it officially) against Grimsby…

Favourite player of all time who played for your club: Dean Lewington is probably the fans favourite amongst many MK'ers (including me) as he is the only remaining player that came here with Wimbledon and his commitment and endeavour is always 100% but Jude Stirling and his 'humungus throw ins' plus Captain Fantastic Keith Andrews is also hugely popular and I am just hoping we can hold on to him!

About our forthcoming match against you:

Its going to be a tough one I think and a lot of Dons fans were 'gutted' that we Lloyd Dyer has gone to the Foxes as he had a Fantastic season for us last year.  We should bring quite a decent level of support and will Def make Lots of Noise as always!

Your favourite current player in your squad and why? Keith Andrews – a Fantastic Captain and player last season!

Player in your squad we should most fear and why? Keith Andrews (if we still have him!) and our Goalie Willy Gueret is in my opinion the best outside of the Championship.

Player in our squad you most fear and why? Lloyd Dyer – he has fantastic pace and will probably be 'up for it' against the Dons!

Up and coming prospect in your squad? Sammy Baldock is a 'local lad come good' and is very quick and pushing for a regular place in the squad.

Where do you think you'll finish this season?  Would be delighted if we made the Play Offs but we know its going to be tough so a Top Ten place would be good for most MK Dons fans.

How do you think you'll do against us? 2-2 at your ground and we will beat you at ours.

Any other comments: Good luck to the Foxes (apart from this Saturday of course) – we are looking forward to coming to visiting you this Saturday and having a pint and friendly banter in a good local watering hole'!
