Directions
Leave the A14 at Junction 7 and take the A43 towards Corby/Kettering. At the first roundabout turn right onto the A6003 towards Kettering and the ground is located down this road on the left. There is limited parking at the ground, but plenty of street parking is to be found.
Pubs
At the ground itself is the Poppies Social Club which admits visitors for a small fee. The Club has a large screen showing SKY Sports and serves real ale. On my visit there was a pleasant mix of both home and away supporters inside. The entrance to the Club can be found outside the ground, beside the Main Stand. Next door to the ground is a Bowling Alley which also has a small bar and fast food outlet. The nearest pub is the Beeswing which is a five minute walk away. This Everards pub is located on the main A6003, going away from the Town Centre, back towards the A43.
By Train
Kettering train station is about a mile away from the ground and is around a 15 minute walk.
Walk up the hill from the station entrance and take the first left into Northfield Avenue This road takes you all the way to the ground. Carry on past the Morrison's petrol station, Nissan Dealership and then finally past the Co-Op. At the top of the road you can see the large, green Main Stand of the ground.
Trains take approx 30mins £9-30 cheap day return
