That is the question we asked Northwich Victoria Supporters Trust, Maggie Nixon gathered the views of several fans and filed this report exclusively for the Foxes Trust.
"Louis Dodds has done well and has been a good loan signing.
His debut wasn't easy, with a mid-week match away to Exeter, where he was substituted after 63mins. The feedback was optimistic, he'd had a quiet start but could run faster than most and it looked like a promising loan signing.
Louis' first home match against Rushden & Diamonds was excellent, he worked hard and demonstrated that he has a good awareness of the game. Two incidents stand out.
Firstly, he found space at the far post from a set piece, putting him in a perfect position to collect a poorly cleared ball and deliver it back into the box, where our tall central defender buried it in the back of the net.
The second has to be the best of his three Vics goals. A precise curling shot instinctively delivered into the top corner of the net from 25 yards out – stunning……
The following match was away to Stevenage and was another hard working exhibition with a goal from within the box.
The game against Halifax, which saw us 2-0 down at half time, continued to endear him to the fans. Even though we couldn't convert a penalty chance, awarded when Louis was fouled in the box, it was Louis who was the hero, scoring the winner in the last few minutes of the game. Even though it was a deflection, he was in the right place at the right time.
Fortunately for him, he wasn't part of our narrow 8 -0 defeat at Brighton in the FA Cup!!, but since then the team has been subdued and his performance in the second month of the loan spell has been quieter.

So how would we rate him?
His work rate is very good, he battles for everything and is no prima donna.
He can be seen tracking back to defend as often as rushing forward in attack. He is an honest player, with none of the diving, or play acting seen in so many players these days.
He has a good eye for goal and generally takes the chances offered to him and gets in good positions, making space for himself. 3 goals in the first 4 matches is a good return and he has had chances and come close in every one of his six games in a Vics shirt.
Whilst he is quick compared with some of our players, he doesn't have the physical advantages of terrific pace or great height and will need to make up for that with his awareness of the game and getting into good positions.
Overall I think he has done very well and certainly helped to instill a renewed confidence in the team in his first month. Events have conspired against him and the team in the last few matches, with the heavy defeat at Brighton and numerous injuries, but he never stopped working and came close to scoring several times.
We wish him every success in the future, and think he will improve further in a better team."
