Safe Standing Road Show Coming to Leicester

A group of Leicester fans who are passionate about ending the unfair system that operates in football are bringing the Safe Standing Road show supported by the Football Supporter’s Federation to Leicester.

Existing regulations state that the top two tiers of English football must be entirely seated and one of the biggest arguments for this is that standing area’s are unsafe. This is the result of events from many years ago when the whole structure of grounds were much worse and those attending games were not managed in a safe and efficient way. We have moved on a great deal and measures are in place to ensure people attending games are safe and area’s are not over crowded.

If you go to a lower league game you can stand in brand new terraces all game without an issue and to date there have been no safety issues as the new terraces are better designed, a long way from the terraces of old that people sadly believe would return if we re-introduced standing at football.

The Safe Standing Road Show will display the latest technology of ‘Rail Seating’ used at many grounds safely in the German league. A modern safe system to allow people to stand in comfort with no fear of surging or crushing. A system that matches our modern grounds and will put an end to the unfairness bestowed on thousands of football fans without effecting those who wish to enjoy the game seated.

There are so many things to learn about the advantages of this system and the best way is to view it first hand and speak to the owner of the Road Show.

So please come and support our event even if you don’t wish to stand at games we would love to see you. We just ask for a few minutes of your time to show you this safe modern system. It will be here just before the Peterborough game so we hope to see you at:
