The Foxes Trust previously encouraged fans to take part in a results prediction competition which ran for two seasons before the PredictTheScore website dropped the Championship part of their competition.
However for the new season, the Foxestalk Message Board owner has launched their own competition with the winner not only have the kudos of being the most knowledgeable City fan about our division, but also gets a cash prize too.
Unsurprisingly you have to register with the message board to take part, here are the full published rules of the competition
Competition Rules
Entry: The competition is open to all FoxesTalk members.
Predictions: The competition requires members to pick the winner of each game. You can get to the Predictor by clicking the link below or using the Predictor tab at the top of the page. Make sure when you make your picks, you remember to click “Submit Picks” at the bottom of each week.
Prediction deadlines: The kickoff time for each game is the deadline for making your predictions. You can make changes prior to the deadline by making your changes and clicking “Submit Picks” again, it keeps your latest changes in the system.
Scoring: Predicting the result of a game correctly (e.g. Leicester and Peterborough to draw), will score you 1 point.
Competition stages: The competition will be split into two. The first competition will be ran for 26 weeks until the 1 January. At this point the winner and runners up will have been decided and prizes will be awarded.
We will then start a fresh competition for the second half of the season.
Tie-break: If two or more competitors are tied on the same number of points, a tie-break will be used to decide the winner. The tie-break will be based on the number of points scored in LCFC games.
Prizes: The competition winner will win a prize to the value of £50. The runner-up will win a prize to the value of £20.
