A bit about you:
Name: Paul Ellis
Current home town: Nottingham
Birthplace: Nottingham
How long have you supported your team? 51 years
Overview of your club:
A team with a fantastic history and just about getting back onto the Football stage from the oblivion of the last 10 years.
Favourite thing about your home ground: Near to where I live. 15 Minute walk.
Favourite match played by your team & why: Forest v Everton F.A. Cup Quarter Final March 1967. I was a teenager; the world was very much about the emergence of a youth culture and this match epitomised the ups and downs of Football. 1 -0 down; 2- 1 up and then the winner 2/3 minutes from time. The goal at the Trent End where I and the major Forest fans stood. The ball hit the bar and rebounded; it hit the goalkeeper and rebounded and then it was put in by Ian Storey Moore for his hat trick. I was standing at the back of the Trent End and ended up at the front. Fantastic.
Favourite player of all time who played for your club: Stan Collymore – the most gifted player who lifted the crowd every time he got the ball. Wasted his talent in many ways; should have stayed at Forest.
