Free entry to Leicester St Andrews on Non-League Day

The Foxes Trust has teamed up with Leicester St Andrews Football Club to offer our members free tickets to their fixture on Non-League Day.

Running on Saturday 28th March, Non-League Day is used as a celebration of grassroots football clubs who make a real impact within their communities and the wider football pyramid. It provides a platform for these clubs to promote the importance of affordable, volunteer-led community football while giving fans the chance to show support for their local non-league side during the international break.

As part of Non-League Day, we will be working with Leicester St Andrews to offer Foxes Trust members free tickets to their home game against Chelmsley Town in the MFL (Midland Football League) Division 1 fixture at Canal Street (LE2 8LZ) on Saturday 28th March 2026 (3pm kick-off)

Why Leicester St Andrews?

The club was formed in the early 1960’s as Rifle Butt FC, the club was named after the Rifle Butt pub on the now-demolished New Bridge Street – sitting in the shadow of Filbert Street.

After moving a couple of miles down the road to Canal Street, the club maintains a strong connection with Leicester City and is one of the closest non-league football clubs to Filbert Way.

Leicester St Andrews Chairman, Brett Wells, said: “There’s a real buzz about the Drews at the moment with the team pushing towards the top end of the table.

For Non-League Day, we’re delighted to be offering free tickets to Foxes Trust members – we’ll also have a band on post-match and also have a Q&A with former City striker Ian Marshall.

If LCFC fans would like to experience football in a more personal, community-focussed way, the Drews is a great place to come and experience that.”

We’d encourage our members and all LCFC fans to get out into their communities on the 28th March and support some of the fantastic football clubs we have across Leicestershire. We hope as many of you will join us at Canal Street to support Leicester St Andrews in their quest for promotion.
