Our two most recent statements have concluded with calls for the Director of Football to communicate directly with supporters. We have also contacted the club to formally invite him to meet with the Trust board and respond to questions from our membership.
The club has not accepted this invitation and instead directed us to the Fan Advisory Board as the appropriate forum for discussing and understanding the footballing vision. We will therefore be feeding this request into our new FAB rep for the next meeting.
It has been an extraordinary few weeks for our club. Much-anticipated communication from the Chairman was followed by a managerial dismissal, a points deduction, further defeats and, 24 days on, the appointment of a new manager. We wish Gary Rowett every success as he works to galvanise the squad and steer them towards safety.
After such an unprecedented period, where emotions and opinions have understandably run high, the Trust is looking to its members to provide guidance on how they would like to be represented.
As a result, members will receive a short pulse survey in the coming week or so that will help to provide this guidance.
As a democratic organisation, the Foxes Trust is guided by its members. If you’d like to have your say and help shape our direction, click here to join today.
