Following a short survey issued to Foxes Trust members to gauge supporters view about ticket pricing for the 2025/26 season, and based on views expressed elsewhere by LCFC fans, the Trust has issued an open letter to the Club. The key elements are:
• The Trust is calling on the Club to freeze all ticket prices at 2024/25 levels if we remain in the
Premier League.
• The Trust is calling on the Club to return to the ticket pricing structure used for the 2023/24 season, if it transpires that the club is relegated to the Championship.
• The Trust is calling on the Club to maintain the approach taken to Cup game ticket prices in 2025/26, offering affordable pricing of tickets.
We believe ensuring tickets are affordable and attainable will help build the next generation of supporters.
This season, we have witnessed supporters voting with their feet and rejecting over-priced away tickets for the visit to Manchester United for the FA Cup fixture. The club needs to ensure Leicester supporters don’t feel inclined to take the same approach to attending home games.
The Trust understands that football is a business and the financial realities of running a club. However, any push to raise revenue from increased ticket income, has little impact on turnover compared to rising broadcasting revenues (now in multiple billions), sponsorship and commercial income. Increasing ticket prices at the King Power Stadium could in fact drive income down instead of up as fans decide enough is enough when it comes to the cost of attending matches.
