A bit about you:
Name: Martin Cloake
Current home town: London – now south of the river
Birthplace: London – north of the river
How long have you supported your team? Earliest memories are Nice One Cyril in 1971 and listening to the 1972 UEFA Cup final on the radio. So about 43 years.
Overview of your club:
Favourite thing about your home ground: On it's day it's a still a proper, passionate English football ground with the stands close to the pitch and the place bouncing. I still take a breath every time I step up towards my seat and see the pitch roll out in front of me.
Favourite match played by your team & why: Without being a flash Cockney bastard, there are so many. Probably the 1981 FA Cup final replay – a proper occasion, the greatest Wembley cup final ever and the greatest Cup Final goal ever from Ricky Villa, properly going mental on the big terrace behind the goal and a lifelong love cemented.
Favourite player of all time who played for your club: Oddly, as I never saw him play live, Danny Blanchflower. An extraordinary man and footballer. Of the players I've seen live, Steve Perryman was my early hero but Glenn Hoddle was the best.
About our forthcoming match against you:
Your favourite current player in your squad and why? Hugo Lloris – one of the best keepers in Europe, focussed and gets on with it no matter what. But the support Roberto Soldado gets shows all those stories about hard-to-please Spurs fans aren't quite accurate.
Player in your squad we should most fear and why? Christian Eriksen – combines technical ability with drive and vision and he can really hurt the opposition.
Player in our squad you most fear and why? I've got to confess I haven't seen a lot of Leicester this season, but when you come up against a player with the experience of Estaban Cambiasso you've got to make sure you take his potential seriously, no matter how old he is. The midfield is so important these days, and if he can start putting a few probing passes in then it could give us something to think about.
Up and coming prospect in your squad? Encouragingly, there's a few, with Ryan Mason and Nabil Bentaleb staking their claims, but Harry Kane is the real stand out. Goals galore, and he's one of our own.
Where do you think you’ll finish this season? Top six is possible.
How do you think you’ll do against us? Always a fine line between being respectful and not being patronising, this one, but we have to be looking at taking all three points from this one.
Any other comments? Be interesting, especially over Christmas, to see how the supports measure up. We reckon our away support is as good as any, and we know your fans have a great reputation for getting behind the team – so there should be a proper atmosphere.
