A bit about you:
Name: Tony Edeson
Current home town: Leicester (although it is a City!)
Birthplace: Driffield, East Yorkshire
How long have you supported your team? 48 years – 27 as Season Ticket Holders (me and my son).
Overview of your club:
Favourite thing about your home ground: Atmosphere, size and passion of crowd (even through recent hard times) and the chip shop opposite!
Favourite match played by your team & why: Everton, home in 1967 – my first trip to ER.
Favourite player of all time who played for your club: Tony Currie – what a masterful player and in an era of showmanship he was ‘Billy Smart’!!
About our forthcoming match against you:
Your favourite current player in your squad and why? Sam Byram. Broke through last season. Only ever present, most consistent player, never had a bad game.
Player in your squad we should most fear and why? Rudy Austin – banned for first two games so if he plays first game of season against you with a point to prove.
Player in our squad you most fear and why? Chris Wood. Always scores against us!
Up and coming prospect in your squad? Sam Byram – good prospect – if we can keep him! Plays equally well at fullback or in midfield. Pacy and good in the air.
How well do you think you'll do this season? Based on pre-season, we'll struggle to stay in top half. no money. No new players of quality, only potential, we'll need a fair wind or a takeover!!!
How do you think you’ll do against us? If our squad assembled for £4.50 can compete with your £15M squad for 90 minutes I'd be happy. We won here season before last and were unlucky last season to concede so late, but I don't hold out much hope to be honest. Money should talk!
