A bit about you:Name: Chris C
How long have you supported your team? As long as I can remember.
Overview of your club:
Favourite thing about your home ground: I preferred the atmosphere and old school feel of The Dell, but we do now have a beautifully kept and big pitch suited to passing football.
Favourite match played by your team & why: The incredible 4-3 win over fellow strugglers Norwich in our relegation season, won with a last minute screamer by Camara. A great memory from a truly awful season.
Favourite player of all time who played for your club: Simply no contest for someone of my generation, Matthew Le (God) Tissier.
About our forthcoming match against you:
Your favourite current player in your squad and why? Our classiest player is central midfielder Safri, unfortunately heading off to the African Nations Cup after the game. My favourite is that rarest of things in the modern game, a local boy in the team, Andrew Surman….
Player in your squad we should most fear and why? You should most fear Rasiak, but despite struggling for goals Burley hasn't been playing him, much to the frustration of the fans.
Player in our squad you most fear and why? Mr Route One himself Steve Howard has always done well against us and was a real thorn in our side at Derby.
Up and coming prospect in your squad? Former academy winger Nathan Dyer has been attracting the Premiership vultures. A serious ankle injury is the only thing likely to be keeping him at the club during the transfer window.
Where do you think you'll finish this season? After a brief improvement in our fortunes, what looked a talented team is now sinking fast after a terrible run over the Christmas period. The natives are getting restless with Burley's chopping and changing and we come into the game on the back of a 3-0 loss at home to Watford.
Although we have enough in the squad to avoid relegation and potentially to scrape a play-off place, we are so inconsistent that despite beating the likes of West Brom with style, we are destined for mid-table obscurity.
How do you think you'll do against us? Given our recent patchy form, a draw would be a good result. Given our inconsistency all results are possible – we tend to do better when expectations are lower!
