At the roundabout as you come off the A38 take the second exit A386, signposted Plymouth Argyle Home Park, Ferry Port. Stay on this road for approximately a mile; the stadium is on your left.

From Cornwall:
Head towards Plymouth on the A38 and across the Tamar Bridge at Saltash. Stay on the A38 until the junction mentioned above but take the fifth exit off the roundabout.

Parking

There is parking outside the ground for home and away supporters as well as a park and ride service from The George, Derriford.

By Train

Plymouth railway station is about one and a half miles away, so either grab a cab or embark on the 20-30 minute walk. As you come out of the station turn right and down the hill and under the railway bridge. Just keep walking straight along this road and you will soon see the floodlights of the ground in the distance.  Time approx 5 hours return fare £92-50 please check with National Rail or www.thetrainline.com ……

Where to Drink

Probably the best bet is the Britannia which is a sizeable Wetherspoons outlet and reasonably close to the ground (from the car park outside the football ground, turn left and the pub is down the road on the right hand corner). For most matches the pub has a queue of fans waiting to get in outside, but this is controlled by the security staff, so you don't normally have to wait too long to gain entrance. Although away fan friendly, the pub doesn't tolerate away supporters singing their clubs songs and any who do are quickly ejected from the premises, so you have been warned.

Near to the pub is usually a van selling pasties.

Opposite the Britannia is the Embassy Club which is best avoided by away fans.

The Pennycomequick is also recommended if you are walking to the ground from the railway station.

Hotel Accommodation

If you require hotel accommodation in the area then you can try the hotel booking service provided by Football Hotels, powered by Activehotels, who specialise in locating accommodation near or within a short travelling distance of the football ground. They also have the added advantage over some other hotel booking services that you pay on departure. www.footballhotels.co.uk . Alternatively there is a similar service provided by Superbreak in conjunction with Harvey World Travel. www.superbreak.com  go to concerts and events.

City Attractions

There are a wide range of activities to choose from when visiting Plymouth. The Historic Barbican dockside is well known as a large tourist attraction and features the place where the Pilgrim Fathers set sail for the Americas. Shopping in Plymouth has also been improved in recent years with the completion of Drakes Circus, a large mall featuring a range of retail outlets. Plymouth Hoe and its 18th century lighthouse, is always nice for a walk with a great view of the Sound.
