View from the opposition – Spurs

Name:  Dave Williams

Current home town: Leicester

Birthplace: Leicester

How long have you supported your team? Since 1973

Overview of your club:

Favourite match played by your team & why: Inter Milan away (C/L)

Favourite player of all time who played for your club: Gareth Bale

About our forthcoming match against you:

Your favourite current player in your squad and why? Christian Ericcson, if he plays well spurs play well.

Player in your squad we should most fear and why? Harry Kane

Player in our squad you most fear and why? Jamie Vardy, He’s scoring, works so hard for the team and he is so pc, I mean pacey.

Up and coming prospect in your squad? Son

How do you think you’ll do against us? Draw 1-1

General Questions:

What did you think of the summer transfer activity in and out of your club this season? Janssen still has a lot to prove but I think he will be ok.

Where did you think you would finish this season? Top 4

Which three teams did you think will go down?  Burnley, Bournemouth and Sunderland

Who did you think will win the league? Chelsea

A lot has been said about Spurs losing the best players in the summer, kiss of death playing a year at Wembley etc - is this pure paper talk or do you have concerns about next season? Spurs currently have the most progressive squad on the pitch and will need to improve the wage structure to retain these players and attract quality players that can give the club a chance of a first premier league title. Playing at Wembley could be a problem next season, but still see a top 4 finish and progression to the Champions League k/o stages as a realistic goal.

How do you think you will do in the champions league next season?

I see them qualifying for the k/o stages, not sure that they will make the quarter finals, a lot depends on the opposition.

A bit about you:

Name: Adam Karim age 15

Current home town:  Leicester

Birthplace:  Leicester

How long have you supported your team?

For 6 years after my die-hard City supporting uncle persuaded me

Overview of your club:

Favourite thing about your home ground:

The atmosphere in City Square and the tunnel cam.

Favourite match played by your team & why:

Beating QPR in last minute to win the league in 2012 of course followed by beating Barcelona 3-1 last November.

Favourite player of all time who played for your club:

Sergio Aguero - he won the league for us!

About our forthcoming match against you:

Your favourite current player in your squad and why?

Kevin De Bruyne - great at assists and can change a game

Player in your squad we should most fear and why?

Leroy Sane has such great pace and skill

Player in our squad you most fear and why?

Jamie Vardy - I remember his hat trick against us earlier this season! Dangerous against teams that play possession- based football

Up and coming prospect in your squad? Gabriel Jesus 100%

Where do you think you’ll finish this season? Top 4 - just!

How do you think you’ll do against us? 2-1 to Man City but it will be a tight match.

General Questions:

What did you think of the transfer activity both in and out of your club this season?

Bought some important attacking players but getting rid of Joe Hart was an atrocious decision and may have defined the underperformance this season. Gundogan was a great buy but such a shame he got injured

Which is the final team do you think will go down?  Hull

Describe your season in ten words or less:

Dodgy goalkeeping and defence with moments of genius

Any other comments?

It's been a topsy-turvy season with some great highlights. Pep's had a lot to learn! Hoping for better next season.
