Name: Shaun Dyer
Current Home Town: Leicester
Birthplace: Bury
Overview of your club:
Favourite thing about your home ground: It’s a proper old ground in the town, none of this identikit bowl on an industrial estate nonsense.
Favourite match played by your team & why: Burnley 1 Manchester United 0 our first big game in the premiership Robbie Blake smashes a screamer and the best saves a penalty it gve us hope that we could survive and also gave me bragging rights over a few of my mates for a change.
Favourite player of all time who played for your club: I’ll be controversial and say Steve Davis, he captained the club and managed it in my lifetime. He was a defensive rock and also scored some big goals for the club (I remember him bagging a brace to put Spurs out of the cup one year). Just a shame he jumped ship with Judas (Coyle) and forever sullied his good name.
About our forthcoming match against you:
Your favourite current player in your squad and why: Kieran Trippier, undoubtedly our signing of the season best attacking full back in the division by a country mile and cost us half the price we got for Mears who isn’t half the player Tripps is. He scores goals, sets them up and runs all day what more can you want?

How long have you supported your team? Since 12th April 1966 when we beat Bournemouth 1-0. This was during the run of 59 home matches unbeaten, which took us from the old 4th Division to the 2nd.
Overview of your club:
Favourite thing about your home ground: Not surprisingly many fans miss our old ground, I’m sure it’s the same at Leicester. Best thing about our ‘new’ place (it’s 19 years old now) is that it’s not a sexy warm surroundsound arena like yours and many others. It’s stark utilitarian and cold, just how we like it.
Favourite match played by your team & why: This has to be the FA Cup Semi Final v Sunderland at Old Trafford in 2004. The greatest moment in our history, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house, not at our end anyway. We’d been in three FA Cup semi finals before, all before the war, and lost them all. The 2004 final itself was a great day out, but was like a trip to the FA circus compared with the raw emotion of the semi. Look how far we’ve fallen in four years.
Favourite player of all time who played for your club: Harry Cripps. Not the best or most talented of players but his big heart and uncompromising style epitomized the club and he became a Millwall legend in the sixties and seventies. Not far behind Harry is Barry Kitchener, who played a record 602 times for the Lions between 1967 and 1982. This gentle giant tragically passed away suddenly just two weeks ago. Honourable mentions go to Keith Weller, we taught him everything he knew, and Steve Claridge, the type of 100 per center loved by fans everywhere. Which is where he played.

How long have you supported your team? Since I was 3 - 1975 (Happy 40th B-day to me 3 days before our match!)
Overview of your club:
Favourite thing about your home ground: Fantastic pitch, consistently one of the best in all the divisions
Favourite match played by your team & why: Recently, 5-3 at Barnsley. 2-0 down by half-time, heading for our eight-straight loss. Fantastic comeback in the second half, saving Paul Jewell's job I'm quite sure. And play-off win at Wembley in 2000, 4-2 against same opposition!
Favourite player of all time who played for your club: Johnny Walk - striker, midfielder, defender, prolific scorer over 3 decades.
About our forthcoming match against you:
Your favourite current player in your squad and why? JET - Jay Emmanuel Thomas. Arrogance personified on a football pitch. Languid and long, can tie any opposition defence in knots, and scores quite spectacular 35 yard goals. A truly mercurial talent.
