Name: Jane Castle

Current home town: Leicester

Birthplace: Newcastle

Fan for how long? 30 years

Favourite thing about your home ground: The atmosphere can be fantastic

Favourite Game: Any time we beat Sunderland!

Favourite player: Alan Shearer

Current favourite: Joselu if he can find more goals

Who could unlock the game: Jonjo Shelvey – excellent passer

Player you fear: Vardy – always a threat

Player to watch: Freddie Woodman, great young keeper

Score: I think it will be 2-1 to Newcastle

Where will you finish: Anywhere above mid table would be good!

What about your summer transfer activity: Well publicised lack of spending, but if Rondon (injured for this match) can recreate some of his West Brom form he will be a threat – presently he hasn’t made an impact though.  As for Muto – he’s barely been on the pitch!

Relegation prediction: Southampton, Cardiff and West Ham

Who will win the league? Man City but Liverpool might run them closer this year!

Any other comments: Poor start but hard teams to play and the easier ones we’ve drawn away from home. On paper we need to win this at home

Sincere thanks to Steven for a really good article and some great comments about our club ………..

View from the opposition – Huddersfield Town AFC

Name: Steven Downes

Current home town: Cleckheaton

Birthplace: Dewsbury

How long have you supported your team? 10 Years since the 2008/09 season

Overview of your club:

Favourite thing about your home ground: The look of it, there is only the Macron (Bolton Wanderers) that comes close in terms of looks, but our stadium is very distinctive.

Favourite match played by your team & why: Well you could say the playoff finals but my favourite game at the John Smith's Stadium is the playoff semi-final against Bournemouth in the 2010/11 season.

Favourite player of all time who played for your club: It has to be captain fantastic Peter Clarke he was my first Town hero as a young teenager, I looked up to how he played on the pitch. His no nonsense and hard tackling style of play.

About our forthcoming match against you:

Your favourite current player in your squad and why?

Christopher Schindler, he is just brilliant, his timing of tackles and ability on the ball is just outstanding. Schindler is now a legend at the club and in most Town fans opinion is one of the best defenders to ever put the proud blue and white stripped shirt on.

Player in your squad we should most fear and why?

Steve Mounie- He is a powerful player in the box who can win just about any header, if and when we deliver a decent cross into the box, more than likely Mounie will get on the end of it. He came close against Palace in our last game to scoring, hopefully this time at Leicester he'll put the ball into the net.

Player in our squad you most fear and why?

Jamie Vardy- It has to be Vardy, with his pace and direct running style, he's always a danger when it comes to balls over the top of our defence. It will take a massive amount of concentration and right positioning to stop the former England international from getting on the score sheet.

Up and coming prospect in your squad?

Phillip Billing, he is still only 21 years of age, he is still learning the ropes and so far this season has done very well in the games he has played in. There are high hopes for the Danish midfielder to become a top class player, and a few years ago he attracted attention from both Everton and Spurs. Town managed to keep a hold of the tall CM and now it will be interesting to see where and how his career develops moving forward.

How do you think you’ll do against us?

I always see Leicester as one of those sides who score plenty of goals but also concede plenty too. That has certainly been the case so far this season, and it will be interesting to see how you set up against us on Saturday. We don't have a good record when travelling to you and that is something that our head coach David Wagner will have to battle against. I can see the game being either 3-0 to Leicester or 2-1 to Huddersfield.

General Questions:

What did you think to the summer transfer activity both in and out of your club?

As ever since David Wagner has arrived in West Yorkshire he has liked to get his transfer business done early. To be honest this summer it was more important to keep hold of what we already had and then adding to that. The coaching staff all signed new contracts including Wagner himself. First team members Jonas Lossl and Flo Hadergjonaj were on loan at the Terriers the season before, but their loan spells were made permanent over the summer. The same went for Terrance Kongolo who was bought from Monaco for £17.5m the biggest transfer fee ever to be paid by Town for any player. Other players were added to the squad such as Ben Hamer from Leicester and Erik Durm from Borussia Dortmund.

Notable players to leave the club were Dean Whitehead (Retired) and Robert Green left the club on a free transfer.

Other players to leave for money were Tom Ince who moved to Stoke City for £10m, Michael Hefele departed to move to Nottingham Forest in the Championship and Scott Malone also went to a second division club in Derby County.

Finally Sean Scannell was sold to local rivals Bradford City, Scannell was the last player to appear in Town's first season back in the Championship in 2012 to leave the club.

Where do you think you’ll finish this season? Hopefully we'll finish in 17th position or above.

Who do you think will win the league? Manchester City, you can't look past them with their squad and continuous good results.

Which three teams do you think will get relegated from the Premiership?

West Ham

Cardiff City

Any other comments? I've always liked Leicester as a club and hope you do well this season, you should in my opinion be fighting for a European spot this time around.
