Going to Cardiff ?

Directions

There is a rugby match in Cardiff so all travel is likely to be delayed, leave plenty of time

To avoid driving through the centre of Cardiff, leave the M4 at junction 33 and take the A4232 towards Cardiff/Barry. Keep on the A4232 towards Cardiff and then leave the dual carriageway at the B4267 exit, signposted 'Cardiff (Leckwith) Athletics Stadium'. Follow the signs for the stadium and after about half a mile you will see Ninian Park over on your right. Parking at the ground is very limited

Please note that parking in the nearby retail park is limited to 90 minutes and is being enforced.  The Gol Centre near to ground is recommended but it can be slow getting away

There is also a Park and Ride Service from Cardiff East CF23 8HH, or you can park in Newport and catch the train but they will be very busy.

Pubs

Most of the pubs near to the ground can be quite intimidating for away supporters and are not recommended. However there is the Lansdowne Hotel, which is also a pub 15-20mins walking distance or the Gol centre.

By Train

The nearest train station is Ninian Park Halt, which is only a couple of minutes walk from the ground. This station is on a local line which is served by trains from Cardiff Central. Alternatively Grangetown station is around a 10-15 minute walk away from Ninian Park and is served by fairly frequent trains from Cardiff Central, that continue onto Penarth or Barry Island. On leaving Grangetown station turn left, cross the main road and then turn right into Sloper road for the ground. Cardiff central is approximately 25 mins walk from the ground..

Train takes approx 3hr 15min to Cardsiff, 3hr 30 mins to Ninian Park Holt and standard ticket is about £76.20 but there may be cheaper value tickets available if you book earlier.
