View from the opposition – Man Utd

Huge thanks to Andrew for again stepping in and doing this 'view from' at the last minute when we were let down …………

A bit about you:

Name: Andrew

Current home town: Leicester

Birthplace: Leicester

How long have you supported your team? 45 years

Overview of your club:

Favourite thing about your home ground: The players walking out on the side of the Stretford End supporters. Normally the home team walk out on the right hand side of the tunnel.

Favourite match played by your team & why: 1968 European Cup Final beating Benfica 4 – 1 in extra time at Wembley. George Best was the hero and this became his world stage defining moment.

Favourite player of all time who played for your club:  George Best

About our forthcoming match against you:

Your favourite current player in your squad and why?  Nemanja Matic, as i feel he is going to be very much like Bryan Robson.

Player in your squad we should most fear and why? Marcus Rashford, he has grown 3" and become so strong in the last year. He is becoming Gary Lineker-esque.

Player in our squad you most fear and why? Danny Drinkwater, as all ex Man Utd players try to show why they should not have been let go.

Up and coming prospect in your squad? Joel Pereira – Goalkeeper

How do you think you’ll do against us? 3-1, both teams have shown they can score but United have shown they have a better defence so far.

General Questions:

What did you think to the summer transfer activity both in and out of your club?  Almost excellent, still want Fellaini out.

Where do you think you’ll finish this season? 2nd

Who do you think will win the league? Noisy neighbours

Which three teams do you think will get relegated from the Premiership? Newcastle, Bournemouth, Crystal Palace but at this stage only current form gives you any idea as that can change when Manager's start being sacked.

Any other comments? Really looking forward to seeing how United will cope with Leicester playing counter attacking football, especially with the speed of Vardy and the current form of Okazaki.
