Oppos Viewpoint – Millwall

A bit about you:

Name: RICHARD PYTEL

Current home town: Amersham Buckinghamshire

Birthplace: SHIPLEY WEST YORKSHIRE

How long have you supported your team? : 55 YEARS

Overview of your club:

Favourite thing about your home ground: night games at the DEN

Favourite match played by your team & why: When little old Millwall were promoted to Division One we went up to Anfield ready to be slaughtered according to the media. Then Sherringham slipped it to Stephenson who blasted it in to go 1-0 up at Liverpool … Millwall had arrived!

Favourite player of all time who played for your club: Bryan King Goalkeeper closely followed by Keith Weller

About our forthcoming match against you:

Your favourite current player in your squad and why?  Steve Morison : He took over the captaincy when Tony Craig was injured in Oct 15 with the team was near the bottom of the league and we went on to end up in the play off final only for Tony Craig to Take over as captain again in the final. Despite that he has come back this season and worked his socks off

Player in your squad we should most fear and why? Fred Onyedinma: He has pace to burn and has got much stronger, if he adds an end product to his game he will lethal.

Player in our squad you most fear and why?  No idea I never watch the Premier League

Up and coming prospect in your squad?  Tom King he looked really good goalkeeper in the Checkatrade Trophy Game at Luton

Where do you think you’ll finish this season? 6th and 6th place have a knack of winning play offs as well!

How do you think you’ll do against us? Depends which team you send out. Although I thought we had no chance against Bournemouth and Watford (who only managed one shot on target) so if we score first you might be in for a hard afternoon. Push me for a forecast: head 1-1 heart 2-1

Who do you think will win the FA Cup?  Manchester United

Any other comments? It is a real shame that the premier league clubs are not taking the FA Cup seriously but at least it has helped the likes of Millwall fill up the coffers and get some morale boosting wins under our belt
