Football Fans Protest Over Ticket Prices

Fans across the country demonstrated outside Premier League and other matches last weekend (3,4 Oct) to protest at the rise of ticket prices in football.

Recently a study found that England's top matches were the most expensive in the world with an average cost of £53.67 per game. Apparently that is more than double the Bundesliga average.

The Football Supporters' Federation (FSF) mobilised the 2-day “Twenty's Plenty” campaign which focussed on away fans.

As featured on our website last week, at our game the campaign was organised by Norwich fans group BarclayEndProjekt (safe standing campaigners) with the Canaries Trust support. Leicester fans joined the protest  led by Union FS, which was similarly fully backed by the Foxes Trust.
