Claudio Ranieri

With his first press conference as Leicester City manager due on Monday (27th), fans have now had nearly a week to discuss the merits and pitfalls of Claudio Ranieri’s appointment.

Trust Chairman, Ian Bason, has found himself in demand with the media, at first being interviewed on Radio Leicester only a few minutes after the club first released the news via Twitter. The next day, Rob Dorsett from Sky Sports interviewed him live on the lunchtime bulletin, quickly followed by the Leicester Mercury seeking his views.

The BBC website has recently published a summary of viewpoints including one from Ian along with former City players Gary Lineker, Robbie Savage and Frank Sinclair, who also refers to views from his Chelsea connections. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/33519662

As the new season is fast approaching, we are all hoping to see the team perform as they did towards the end of last season, equally the fans need to continue to create the intensity of atmosphere and with that in mind the Foxes Trust board now believes it’s time for all fans to get behind the new manager and wish him every success.
