Name: Robert Roberts (I’m so good my mother named me twice!)
Current home town: Nottingham
Birthplace: Swansea
How long have you supported your team? Since 3rd March 1978 (Thanks Google). My dad took me, as a 10 year old, to watch John Toshack’s first home game in charge against Watford. That was my last day as a Liverpool supporter.
Overview of your club:
Favourite thing about your home ground: It’s a typical modern stadium not much more I can say.
Favourite match played by your team & why: 2013 Capital One Cup Final in Wembley where we beat Bradford 5 – 0. Our first major trophy. How can anything be better than lifting a cup at Wembley?
Favourite player of all time who played for your club: John Toshack. He was my idol as a kid and was the reason I begun supporting Swansea. God forbid if it wasn’t for him who knows I could have become a bluebird!
About our forthcoming match against you:
Your favourite current player in your squad and why? Ki Sung Young. So under rated yet so important to us this year. I think he’s our player of the year.
Player in your squad we should most fear and why? Jonjo Shelvey. He can score from anywhere
Player in our squad you most fear and why? Leonardo Ulloa. He’s been quiet for you in the last few weeks but had a great start to the season and looks a quality player. I’m sure he’ll be firing again soon. I hope it’s not against us on Saturday.
Up and coming prospect in your squad? Modou Barrow though he’s currently on loan at Notts Forest. He looks awesome and set up our winning goal at home to Arsenal this year.
Where do you think you’ll finish this season? Probably 8th but if we do finish well we can still pass Southampton, Spurs and Liverpool! I’ll keep dreaming.
How do you think you’ll do against us? You have had some great recent results and are still fighting for your lives so you’re going to be a real handful but if we really are going to bolster our position then we must win. I’m going 2 – 3 to The Swans
