Going to Reading ?

Directions by road  – RG2 0FL

From Leicester head south on the M1to Junction 6a with the M25, head towards the M40/M4. From Junction 11 of the M4, follow signs towards Reading. Madejski Stadium is on your left-hand side after less than a mile.

This involves a short bus ride to and from the stadium. Fares on return bus shuttle are £3.50 adult return and £2 child return.  Directions: from J11, M4, take exit B3270 (signposted Earley) and follow yellow signs to "Match Reading FC Park & Ride ". This is the best option for away supporters.

Greyhound / Speedway Stadium site, 500 spaces
£8 per car Five minutes walk to the Stadium. Access off the A33 at the Bennet Road roundabout.

Directions by rail

The nearest rail station is Reading. From there, simply take a Fasttrack Park & Ride green bus that takes you direct to the Stadium. Average journey time less than 10 minutes.

Trains take 2hrs 30mins to 3 hrs

Pubs

There are no pubs as such near to the stadium.  There is a Holiday Inn around a 15 minute walk away on Imperial Wayjust off the A33. Across the road from the hotel is a very good fish & chip shop. Passing the Holiday Inn turn left onto Basingstoke Road and walk up over a hill to find a pub on the right called 'The World turned upside down.' This chain pub had a mixture of home and away fans and also was popular for food. From the pub it is around a 15 minute walk to the stadium.

Next to the ground on a Retail Park are the following food outlets; McDonalds, KFC & Pizza Hut. The Three Guineas on the station approach in Reading has been designated as an away fans pub
