Foxes Trust welcomes Steve Smith back to the Board.

Most of you will recall that in December 2005 Steve Smith (37 at the time), one of the founding members of the Foxes Trust, suffered a major stroke resulting in the father of three being left unable to walk, speak or use his right arm.   

In the last year and a half Steve has been making steady progress in his physiotherapy and speech therapy so much so that despite still having several hurdles to cross he felt ready and willing to come back onto the Board of Foxes Trust and therefore was duly co-opted back on to the Board at our meeting on 7th August 2007.  

You will perhaps also recall from the Leicester Mercury article that on the same day (unbeknown to any of the board) Milan (who was in attendance to conduct his first formal meeting with the board) presented Steve with a match shirt from all at Leicester City as shown in the picture below.
